Morning Offering
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day, in union with
the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of your Sacred Heart: the salvation
of souls, in reparation for sin, and the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for all the intentions of the Holy Father,
our bishops, the Apostleship of prayer and in particular for [name your intentions].
Amen.
We give You heartfelt thanks, heavenly Father, for the rest of the past night, and for the gift of a new day with its
opportunities of living to your glory. May we so pass its hours in the perfect freedom of your service that when evening
comes, we may again give thanks, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Midday Prayers
The Angelus
The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary:And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary . . .
Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
Be it done to me according to your word.
Hail Mary . . .
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God:
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray: pour forth we beseech you, O Lord, your grace into our hearts that we to whom the incarnation of Christ,
your Son, was made known by the message of an angel, may be brought by his passion and cross to the glory of the resurrection,
through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
O God, grant me a moment to reflect on your gift to me of this day. Help me to see your touch in all that has already
happened and to hope you will be with me in all that is still coming my way. For the tasks you have given me and for
the strength to face them, I thank you, Lord. For these moments of peace and for all the ways you keep me going, whether
I am aware of them or not, I give you thanks.
Amen.
Evening Prayers
Watch, O Lord, those who wake or watch or weep tonight, and give your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ. Rest your weary ones, bless your dying ones, soothe your suffering ones,
shield your joyous ones, and all for your love's sake.
Amen.
St. Augustine
Protect us, Lord, as we stay awake; watch over us as we sleep, that awake we may keep watch with Christ, and asleep,
rest in His peace.
Amen.
Liturgy of the Hours
Before meals
Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts which we are about to receive from your bounty through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
After meals
We give you thanks, Almighty God, for all your benefits which we have received from your bounty, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead
us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who
was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died,
and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and
sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection
of the body and life everlasting.
Amen.
Memorare
Remember, O most compassionate Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored
your assistance, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto you,
O Virgin of Virgins, our Mother; to you we come; before you we kneel sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions, but in your clemency hear and answer them.
Amen.
The Anima Christi
St. Ignatius Loyola
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, heal me.
Blood of Christ, drench me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
Good Jesus, hear me.
In Your wounds shelter me.
From turning away keep me.
From the evil one protect me.
At the hour of my death call me.
Into Your presence lead me,
to praise You with all Your saints
for ever and ever.
Amen
Act of Contrition (Traditional)
My God, I am sorry for my sins with all my heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good,
I have sinned against you whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend, with your help, to do penance,
to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Amen
Act of Contrition (Modern)
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life.
Amen
Act of Faith
O my God, I firmly believe that you are one God in three divine Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit;
I believe that your divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because you revealed them, who can neither deceive nor
be deceived.
Amen
Act of Hope
O my God, relying on your infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of your grace,
and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Redeemer.
Amen
Act of Love
O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart and soul, because you are all good and worthy of all my love.
I love my neighbor as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me and I ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
Amen
The Magnificat
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit exalts in God, my savior. For God has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness,
and my name will be blessed forever. The Mighty One has done great things for me and holy is his name. His mercy is from age
to age to those who fear him. He has shown might with his arm, dispersing the arrogant of mind and heart. He has thrown down the
mighty from their thrones but lifted up the lowly. The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant, remember his mercy, according to his promise to our ancestors, to Abraham and his descendents
forever.
Luke 1:46-55

Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.

Peace Prayer of St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy;
Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Prayer To Saint Michael The Archangel
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness
and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou O Prince
of the heavenly hosts, by the divine power, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil
spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
Prayer for Vocations
Lord Jesus, as You once called the first disciples to make them fishers of men, let your sweet
invitation continue to resound: Come, follow Me!
Give young men and women the grace of responding quickly to Your voice.
Support your bishops, priests and consecrated people in their apostolic labor.
Grant perseverance to our seminarians and to all those who are carrying out the ideal
of a life totally consecrated to Your service.
Awaken in our community a missionary eagerness. Lord, SEND WORKERS TO YOUR HARVEST
and do not allow humanity to be lost for the lack of pastors, missionaries and people
dedicated to the cause of the Gospel.
Mary, Mother of the Church, the model of every vocation, help us to say "Yes" to the Lord Who
calls us to cooperate in the divine plan of salvation.
Pope John Paul II
